Lukas Lerner Obituary

Lukas was spiritual brother to me, and I enjoyed the time I was able to spend with him. The news of his passing was a shock when I heard it. I just remembered him again recently and wanted send my respect.

In the occasion of this sad anniversary I decided to write here in order to witness that Lukas will be always living in our memory and in the heart of the people that have had the privilege of meeting him. May God bless his family always.

Still shocked & saddened, strong thoughts of love & strength to all.

Lukas is one of the nicest men I have known. He loved his God. He loved his Family. He loved his country. I know his family will represent his enthusiasm for life and work that he had.
I was proud to know him.

Lukas who consistently out-hiked everyone. Lukas who climbed a mountain, backtracked and climbed the next one before the rest of the party even caught up with him. Lukas who excelled at anything he ever tried. Now he's on to further hiking grounds, ever summiting the next peak before his other earthly companions. Soar far. We love you Lukas. Pray for us. Bye for now.

I remember Lukas very well when he was at La Verna in Italy: his presence was always a sign of generosity, kindness and hard work for everyone. My prayers and my deepest condolences for his whole family.

I remember Lukas and Autumn dancing their hearts out at their wedding reception. Such a joyous occasion full of love. I’m sending love to you Autumn and the kids and my dear friend Mary, Lukas’s Mom. Such a huge loss.

Lukas and I shared some great conversation during running club group runs. He had a warm presence and was and an incredible person. My sincere condolences to the friends and family he leaves behind.

Knew him only as a toddler and wish I had the opportunity to know him better. Clearly a loving man and father and like many before him capable of anythinbg he put his mind to. Love and thoughts to all those he left behind - you can rest assured that he continues to live in your heart forever.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Lukas, but my heart goes out to Autumn and the entire family. There are no words, only sadness. So very sorry for this loss.
