Lori Nightingale Obituary

4/08/1956 - 11/26/2021

You died a hero, never forgotten.

Lori passed a motor vehicle accident on her way to work back in November 2021. Being the person she was she couldn't drive past and turned around to offer assistance. In her act of unselfishness and compassion, she was involved in a tractor trailer accident that fatally wounded her. I set up a go fund me account to set up a memorial bench in her honor and memory.

After months of red tape, bad weather, benches only installed in spring, the bench has been installed at Viles Park, Durango, CO across from St Columba church, with a plaque in her memory. With the remains of the funding a donation to the soup kitchen is made in her name.

For those of you who helped I encourage you to see the bench and thank you from the bottom of my Heart.

I didn't know Lori, but what an awesome person see seems to have been. Very fitting that her last name was Nightingale. R.I.P.
