Loretta Watson Obituary

Former area resident Loretta Hronich Watson died of cancer Thursday, March 18, 2010, in Greeley. She was 63.

Mrs. Watson was born to Lawrence and Ethel Hronich on Oct. 29, 1946, in Fort Sumner, N.M. Her family moved to La

Plata County when she was 5, and Mrs. Watson graduated from Ignacio High School in 1964.

She married Dusty Thomas. The marriage later ended in divorce.

She worked as a medical transcriptionist for many years until illness forced her to retire.

She married Tom Watson in Farmington.

Mrs. Watson was an avid Colorado Rockies fan. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and playing bingo. Her family

said she was a “very giving person."

Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her husband of eight years, Tom Watson.

She is survived by her fiancé Thomas Tiffany of Kersey; mother, Ethel Pricer, of Durango; son, Dustin Thomas of

Morrison, Ill.; daughters Linda Thomas of Farmington and Terri Hansel of Yuma, Ariz.; sister, Lora McCaw, of Oxford;

brother, Larry Hronich, of Oxford; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado, 2726 W. 11th St. Road,

Greeley, CO 80634.
