Lea Brooks-Wytias Obituary

Lea A. Brooks-Wytias, 68, of Durango, died 7/19/2025, peacefully at home, Born 9/11/1956. No service will be held. It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved wife Lea. She was a great lover of animals, which we adopted many. She was fiercely protective of her 4-legged "kids" and of me. I will miss you terribly Lea. I love you. -Chuck

My sympathy, Chuck, in remembrance of your dear Lea. I heard about her hunting exploits from you, if you remember. Someone said that those who experience love, also will know grief. How rich your life has been because of Lea.

Condolences from Nebraska to you Uncle Chuck, fur-cousins, and the infamous Beary and Remis! Aunt Lea was a true Brooks spit-fire! Thank you for being her favorite person up on the mountain all these years.
