Larry Edward Carlisle

Larry Edward Carlisle was born August 17, 1940, and passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2008. He left us to join his mother, father, and son, Lance Carlisle.

He leaves behind a loving wife, Joan Carlisle; a sister, Delores Adams and her husband, Dickie Adams; oldest son, Ronnie Dwyer; and two daughters, Crystal Merrick and her husband, Thomas Merrick and Bridgette DeBenedictis and her fiance' Matt Peeple; nine grandchildren, Cara, Amy Jo, Wayne, Brandy, Chelsey, Dyland, Shawna, Chance, and Dalton; one great-grandson, Alan; two fathers of four grandchildren, Nickey and Jay DeBenedictis; two brothers-in-law, Lewis Clements and Doug Spradlin; several nieces and nephews, Tony Tozzolo, Rickie Adams, Pee Wee, Tina, Whitney, Olivia, Christina, and lots of friends.

Memorial services will be held from 7 until 9 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2008 and Sunday, September 28, 2008, at Dunkum Funeral Home in Dillwyn, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 29, 2008, at 7153 Bell Road, Dillwyn,VA 23936.
