Kenneth Beck Obituary
He was born to Kenneth Wayne and Betty Jean Tillman Beck in Grand Coulee Dam, Wash., on Oct. 23, 1951.
Mr. Beck served in the Navy for seven years, where he received two medals, including one for valor.
He moved to Durango in the late 1970s. Mr. Beck worked as a wrangler at Elk Point Lodge at the Vallecito Reservoir and broke and trained horses for Buck Wagoneer.
In the last years of his life, Mr. Beck worked as a mason. In addition to a number of projects in this area, he also worked on a bank and several homes in Jackson Hole, Wyo.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and horses and spending time with his best friend, Charlie Cutler.
Mr. Beck is survived by his former wife, Billi Shumway.
Cremation has occurred. No services are planned.
