Karen and I knew each other from High School.

Oh Karen, you are already dearly missed.
Karen came into my life through our church, and she quickly became a wonderful friend. I will miss our visits, our shopping trips, our lunches, our "crafts", and our little adventures. She was one of those rare friends who loved it when I stopped by, unannounced. My drive home north through the valley often included a last minute stop at Dave and Karen's back porch. Our 10 minute "chats" would turn in to 2 hour visits with lots of laughter.
I learned so much from Karen; she was a woman of great wisdom. Her love for her family, her friends and most of all her Lord was evident to all who knew her. There are not enough words.....
I have been blessed by knowing her.
My love and prayers continue for Dave and her Family.

All is calm but not as bright. Sad to learn of the passing of our dear neighbor Karen Feller.
Karen was that person. You know the one. They know everyone, kindness is their way of life, they know just the right thing to do... and you just never know when they might stop by with some amazing homemade apricot jam... or a chili ristra they just made for you.
Her home was so warm and always welcoming. They required not one, not two, but three dining tables around their house to feed the weekly chattery laughing Sunday dinner crowd.
She was the perfect example of Community and even though our votes may have canceled each other´s out, we found enough in common to share over some raspberry sorbet or my feeble attempts of cooking a dinner edible enough to invite she and Dave over.
Our entire neighborhood feels much less bright tonight as we greave with Dave and her family. She is going to be missed very deeply.
But oh were we lucky to get to call her "neighbor" and "friend." And she was a true and generous example of "love thy neighbor" personified.
Thank you Karen. I´ll miss you.
