I have so many memories of Josie and my brother Marcelino. First was when my brother took Josie to meet my father for the first time. She was 14 years old and beautiful. After they married, Josie supported me in so many ways. Because of her, I developed a lot to read books. They lived in an apartment next to the library and she would take me there and checked out books. She had a doll almost as I was tall. She was very influential in my life. She and family lived across the street from me in Ignacio where more memories were made. She was a pillar in the church and community. She voiced her opinion and I was so proud of her suggestions with the Carmelitas; did a lot for the church, Participated in special events like Christmas, Easter and so forth. I will miss her much, her sense of humor. GOD bless her, may the angels carry her home into the arms of JESUS and MARY. Our condolences to her children from our family in Maricopa, AZ. Rest in peace lovely lady.
