Joshua Gonzales Obituary
Joshua Andrew Gonzales was born on April 29, 1991 in Alamosa, CO to Diana Lucero and Ben Gonzales. He graduated high school in La Jara, Colorado in 2009 and then went on to earn a degree in diesel mechanics. He recently moved to Durango in 2006 to be close to his mom and other family. His most recent job was at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, where his co-workers were very fond of him. He enjoyed outdoors activities like hiking, fishing and skateboarding. He also enjoyed working on his vehicles.
His greatest love was his daughter, Isabella. Although he never got the chance to be the father he wanted to be, she was his whole world. Joshua was a kind and exceptional young man with a big heart and would often extend his home to those who didn't have a place to go. His time on this earth was too short. He will be missed, loved and remembered by many.
He is survived by his daughter, Isabella Gonzales; his dad, Ben Gonzales; his mom, Diana Lucero and her spouse, Toby Lujan; brother, Matthew Gonzales; sisters, Christa Lucero and Jessica Gonzales. Celebration of Josh's life will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 10am at the River Church in Durango.
