Joseph Lynn Obituary

Joe passed away at the age of 87 on April 24, 2023 at 4:00 am peacefully in Grand Junction, CO. Joe Lynn was born on May 23, 1935 in Durango Colorado to Tex and Myrtle Lynn. He spent his younger years living in Summit Point and in Durango CO. Joe married the love of his life Wilma G. Lynn on April 5, 1959 and together they raised four children; Keith, Kent, Lynda, and Larinda. He had a long successful career as commercial airline captain. Joe and Wilma also ran their ranches- La Questa Ranch in Durango CO and High Flight Ranch in Fruita, CO. Joe loved his music from the time he spent playing in his band, at his home studio, or listening to his great grandkids play. Even beyond all his activities and accomplished dreams, his family and friends were his greatest treasure. He will be missed by many, and welcomed home by many more. Capt. Joseph Lynn's service will be held on Saturday April 29, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Poplins Performance Horses, 855 21 Rd. Fruita, CO. All are welcome, food will follow after the service.
