I worked with Joe during the mid 70's in Denver. I remember him as a breath of fresh air for the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. Bill La Grange, Durango Colorado

Bethany, I am so saddened to learn of Joe’s passing and would like to extend our sympathy and condolences to you and your family. Joe was a cherished friend and co-worker. I first met him at the Ignacio Job Service Center in 1978. He helped me get a job at SUCAP that began my long career there. He was always an encouraging and supportive ally and friend.
