Jesse Tallbull Obituary

Jesse Taylor Tallbull entered this world early in the morning on January 15, 1981 in Missoula, Montana and departed this world in the late afternoon of May 5, 2022 in Durango, Colorado. He was born to Wayne A. and Susan Vassau Tallbull. He spent his first three years in Missoula and moved with his mother to Oklahoma City in 1984. Jesse attended local schools graduating in 2001 from Putnam North High School. Upon graduation he moved to Durango, where he attended Fort Lewis College. His working career began at the age of 16, when he worked at Godfathers Pizza where he was known to make the most picture perfect pepperoni pizza! That set the stage for the rest of his employment history as he was a dependable, dedicated and hard worker. He worked at Walmart in Oklahoma City and Durango in various positions. He was an Assistant Warehouse Manager for Coca Cola for a number of years and finally Home Depot for several years. Jesse loved the outdoors, music and cats beginning with Callie his "best friend". He loved a good joke and was a great story teller, never letting the truth get in the way of a good story. He loved his family and friends furiously.

He is survived by his mother, Susan Vassau Tallbull of Oklahoma City, OK; brother Michael Baars of Helena, MT; sister Tanya Childers of Austin, TX; sister Tiffany LaMere also of Oklahoma City; his fiancé Deanne Martinez; his former longtime companion Crystal Bynum and his cat Noogs. He also leaves many relatives and friends who loved him deeply. Jesse will be forever missed by all the people that were in his life.

A memorial service will be held later this summer in Durango. The family would like to thank the staff at Mercy Regional Medical Center for their most excellent care of Jesse during his last days.
