He collected Dallas Cowboys' memorabilia.Mr Mair will be remembered for the love of his family, they said. His nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart.

Mr. Mair took care of his Aunt Stella Rugg while still living in Durango. After his move to Mesa in 1990, he helped take care of his father, who died in 2000. Since then, Mr. Mair had been helping take care of his mother.
