Jennifer Lopez Obituary

Jennifer Jo Lopez (maiden Gonzales) of Durango, passed away Tues., Oct. 3rd, 2023, she was 47. Jennifer was born June 4th, 1976, in Durango, CO, to Mattie and Charles Gonzales. She lived in her hometown all of her life and graduated from Durango High School in 1994. Jennifer married Isais Lopez July 13th, 1996 and gave birth to three children. She was devoted to being a wife, mother and homemaker. Jennifer helped build and run family businesses. She worked for other community organizations and studied nursing. Catholic faith was important to Jennifer and she completed her sacraments through local churches. She is survived by her husband of almost 30 years, Isais Lopez of Durango; children, Taylor, Teagan and Tarynn Lopez of Durango; mother, Mattie Quintana of Dolores; and siblings, Margaret Gonzales of Mancos and Chuck Gonzales of Durango. Memorial services will be located at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Durango. Rosary will be held at 6 p.m. on Fri. Oct. 13th, 2023 and funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat. Oct. 14th, 2023.
