Jeffrey "Brownie" Obituary

Jeffrey Allen Brown unexpectedly passed away on November 19, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Durango, after a tough battle with heart issues, he was 55 years old.

He is survived by his 12-year-old daughter, Brooklyn Brown, and her mother Sherri Haldorson of Durango; his mother Kathleen Brown, 2 nieces, and 4 nephews of Minnesota.

Jeff was born on September 3rd, 1966 in Minnesota, where he called "home" for most of his adult life. Other than a short time in his 20's when he lived in Florida, playing while minor league hockey. Jeff loved hockey! Hockey guided him while pursuing his other passion in life: TRAVELING! Jeff loved a good adventure!

Jeff and Sherri moved to Durango in the spring of 2008, and welcomed their daughter Brooklyn into the world in October 2009. Brooklyn was Jeff's heart and soul. His love for his daughter goes beyond words that can be expressed! Jeff loved to live life to the fullest and even though his time has been cut short with Brooklyn, she has his zest for life!

Jeff worked so hard in the HVAC business for over 25 years. His determination and work ethic made him very successful, allowing him to enjoy life and create so many beautiful friendships. Jeff had a spirit about him that will be dearly missed by all!

Please join us to celebrate Jeff's life on December 17th, at Chapman Hill Ice Rink from 3:30 to 5pm and dress warm, we will be outside. As a tribute to Jeff, please bring any pictures and/or fond memories you have to help create a memory book for his daughter Brooklyn.

Brooklyn, your father Jeff was a good person with a big heart. He always talked about you and I have never had the opportunity to meet you. I met him when he worked on my house here on Crestview. Please know we all loved your father and I wish you the best Brooklyn..........Tom Duke.
