I remember Ida's spunk! When we worked together at the Humane Society Thrift Store, you could guarantee that Ida would find the most unusual donation of the day. God bless you and your family, Ida. You will be missed.

Sweet Ida, Who always had a smile and a kind word. Although we didn't know her well (from church), she always made us feel like good friends. I will miss her hugs on Sundays. Our prayers are with you all. Brenda and Mikayla

The Brown family, longtime friends, wish to express condolences to the Zink and extended families of Ida Mae Kolb at the time of deep loss.
Her many accomplishments stretch back to her years as a young child and student in Durango High. Upon returning to her Animas Valley ties, Ida offered a depth of her gifts and energy to Our Town.
Quite a legacy as Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Friend and Seeker of Justice. Well done, dear and faithful servant. (((+++))) ~o~

While she was usually quiet, she could throw out some very thought provoking comments in a Bible Study Group!,

One of my favorite stories that she told was how she and some friends ditched school to go to Mesa Verde for the day. They didn't tell their parents and it was a big secret. But they were the 1,000,000 visitors to the park so their picture was on the front page the next day. She told that with a little chuckle. She had such a great sense of humor and had so many great stories to tell.
