Herbert William Bradley 81, of Yuba City, CA, passed away peacefully on October 23,2025, in the arms of his loving wife, Teresa Bradley, following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born on August 30, 1944, in Rigby, ID, he was the son of the late Herbert William Bradley Jr., and Velma Ramona (Ward) Bradley.

He graduated from Yuba City High School and earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1968. He was commissioned Lieutenant Herbert W. Bradley in the U.S. Army and sent to Vietnam, where he served from 1968-1979.

He was a Military Police Officer and was very proud of the fact that all of his men returned home alive.

Herb worked for a few years as a Probation Officer in Yuba County and was a Reserve Deputy for the Sutter County Sheriff's Department.

For most of his adult life, he worked in real estate as an agent and then broker and owner of Coldwell Banker Realty in Yuba City, CA.

He is survived by his brother, Craige Bradley, Douge Bradley; sister, Marcia Bradley; his wife, of 24 years, Teresa (Hamilton-Prien) Bradley; his children, Brooke Bradley, Hale Bradley, Vincent Hamilton, and Salina (Hamilton) Lindsay, of Yuba City CA; his grandchildren, Saibien Hamilton, Aussiana Hamilton, and Arieyessa Hamilton, of Red Bluff, CA, Calista Shires, Tucker Shires, Aphaya Lindsay, and Ryan Bradley, of Yuba City, CA; and his great-granddaughter, Tabitha Shires, who he was really hoping to see born in February of 2026.

Herb was preceded in death by his brother, Dave Bradley.

Herb was a patriot, father, sibling, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, who will truly be missed.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Friday, November 7, 2025, at Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City CA, with Colonel Jerry Ducan U.S. Army Retired.

Interment will be held at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery Dixon, CA.

Let the records show for those who dare say otherwise, this is who Herb Bradley was: honorable, loving, and accepting. He had a huge heart. He adored his daughter Brooke. He was so proud of his son Hale. He saw the value in each grandchild and made sure to speak it often. He was one of a kind and remains deeply loved even upon death. His memory lives on and we will strive to continue to make him proud.

I´m so sorry to hear of Herb´s passing. I had the pleasure to work with him on occasion when I worked in Escrow in YC. He was such a kind, pleasant man. To his family, may your memories bring you peace, and may you feel surrounded by support and care.

Our brother in law and uncle Herb, will be missed so very much! The wit, travel chats, holidays and his patriotism was the perfect company/time that we got to share with him. He took time to educate but also to celebrate each and every one of us. We count our blessings to have known such an amazing human being. Teresa and family...we love you!

I´m so sorry for Herbs passing. This past year a group us has gathered at Senior waffle day and we´ve all had "gift of gab" to share. Herb will be missed, but we´re fortunate to have had our sharing times. Prayers to all of his family and friends. RIP dear Herb

I had the privilege of knowing Herb over the last couple of years. He was lively and friendly and always had a story to share. He had many great accomplishments including serving our country, but I saw mostly that he adored his family (and friends) and was a proud Papa! I am grateful for his warm, welcoming ways and he will be greatly missed.
