Harold Guest Obituary
Mr. Guest was born to Truman and Reba (Harris) Guest on Jan. 16, 1933, in Duncan, Oklahoma.
When he was 16, he became a Christian at a revival held in California, his family said.
On Sept. 6, 1952, he married Jean Alice Carmichael in Covina, California. The couple raised four children.
The Guests moved to the Durango area in 1972.
"Harold loved the Colorado outdoors, especially enjoying hunting deer and elk and snowmobiling in the Durango area," according to his family.
Mr. Guest was preceded in death by his children Peter Guest and Susan Guest.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jean Guest, of Mancos; sons Cliff Guest and Steve Guest; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Cremation has occurred. No services are planned.
