Hannah Hofmann Obituary

Hannah Paris Hofmann, a beautiful daughter, was born in Durango, Colorado on Nov 6, 2000 and returned to her heavenly home on March 11, 2021 while working and studying in Greeley Colorado at the age of 20. She had an incredible spirit and lived life with a passion, helped people even when she was struggling, and always loved her family and friends with intensity. In a field of roses, she was a wildflower.

Growing up in Bayfield Colorado, she worshipped and was baptized at Pine Valley Church and spent much of her life enjoying the Wommer Family Ranch. She attended school in Bayfield, spent a semester as an exchange student in New Zealand and graduated with honors from Southwest Colorado eSchool. She attended University of Northern Colorado in Greeley where she was a straight "A" student majoring in Biology. She worked at two assisted living facilities from the time she was 15 until she passed away. She loved talking to the inspiring and funny patients she cared for, driving the long way home, spending time on social media, bemoaning the stupidity and ugliness of the world, but loving the less fortunate and downtrodden. She loved nature and especially animals, and saw the beauty and the pain most of us rarely stop to see. She loved ridiculous videos, horror movies and true crime podcasts. She spent most of her life either on the peak or in the valley. Her intelligent mind radiated with excellence, her beautiful smile, caring grace and passion will be desperately missed. Her family looks forward to seeing her again healed and made whole with Jesus Christ.

Hannah is survived by her father David Hofmann, her mother and stepfather, Jaime and Justin Messier, sister Abigail Messier (her sunflower), brother Kyle (Kayla Frugé) Hofmann, grandmother Terri McMinn-Lewis, step-grandfather Danny Lewis, grandfather Monty McMinn, grandmother Irma Hofmann, six aunts and uncles and sixteen cousins.
