Gordon Wilber Obituary

Gordon John Wilber, a kind and witty soul who brightened the lives of all he met, passed away on the night of July 18th after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born and raised in Southwest Colorado, Gordon was a devoted lover of the outdoors. He found joy in camping, hiking, and his regular tee times at Hillcrest Golf Club, embracing all the natural beauty his home state offered.

For over 40 years, Gordon was a steadfast presence at City Market. During his long career, his positive outlook and genuine warmth uplifted countless colleagues and customers, making every interaction a little brighter.

More than his professional life, Gordon was a deeply loving husband to Irene and a truly great father to his son, Nicholas. His unwavering kindness and infectious sense of humor will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him.

While cancer has taken yet another warm soul from us, the memories of Gordon's laughter and the good times shared will forever remain in our hearts.

The family plans to hold a celebration of Gordon's life in the fall. Details will be announced at a later date.
