To 'Neighbor Maxine',
We want you to know that we absolutely love having shared so many years with you and Glenn right next door. Hearing his voice every time we spoke, whether in person or on the phone, saying, "Hello neighbor" brightened many days.
You and your family are so very dear to us. We love you as our own family.
God bless all of you and your loved ones.
Love,
The Stephenson family, or as Glenn would say, "...neighbors to the west".

I had the pleasure of knowing Glenn as a student, a colleague, and as a friend. Glenn and I arrived at Ignacio JHS in the same year. He as a teacher and myself as a student. Always a positive and happy person, Glenn often introduced himself as Glenn D. Johnston. And he would say, "You know what the "D" stands for?... Delightful!" Glenn was indeed that! My prayers are with he and his family. God Speed, Mr. J! Thank you for making me a better man!

Mrs. Johnston,
Karen and I offer our deepest sympathy and condolences to you and all of your family. I had the greatest time in all three years (our 9th grade year was spent in JR High that year) of Dr. J's spanish class. I will always remember fondly watching spanish speaking movies eating M&M's while Dr. J translated. He was one of the most kind hearted and caring teacher that I had the pleasure of knowing.
I still look for tape on the outside door of a hotel room, which was Dr. J's "tell" if anyone got out of the room on our Spanish trips to Albuquerque. When we get back to Albq. we will stop in at Pancho's and run the flag up for one more serving of Dr. J memories.
May God Bless his soul, and watch over you all with Dr. J at his right hand.

Maxine, we were greatly saddened to hear of Glenn's passing. Please know that even though we can't make it to the services our thoughts and prayers are with you. Glenn was always so wonderful with our family. He used to say hello to Emily every Sunday and let her rub his head. He also came back and sat down next to me every Sunday and would jokingly say "hello, I'm brother Johnston who might you be?" His sense of humor is awesome! I miss him already. Excited that he and Emily are both free from the challenges that so restricted them here in life. Thank God and our elder Brother for the great Plan of Redemption and for the blessings of the temple. We will see them again soon! All our best and fondest to you in this difficult time. Kirk Coppinger

MAXINE, LISA, BRETT AND FAMILIES, MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO ALL OF YOU. GLEN WAS A VERY NICE PERSON AND GREAT COLLEGUE. I REMEMBER THE DAY AT THE FOURCORNERS REHAB WHEN I SAW HIM IN A ROOM AND WENT IN TO TALK WITH HIM. I HAD MY GRANDSONS WITH ME AND GLEN TALKED TO THEM ABOUT BEING HEALTHY AND TAKING CARE OF YOURSELF SO THAT THEY WOULDNT LOOSE A LEG LIKE HE DID. HE JOKED WITH THE BOYS ABOUT WIGGLING HIS TOES EVEN THOUGH THEY WERENT THERE HE COULD STILL FEEL THEM MOVING HE MADE THE BOYS LAUGH.
FATHER IN HEAVAN HAS OPENED HIS ARMS TO WELCOME GLEN INTO PARADISE. AMEN
