Gail and Jan were some of our first friends when we moved to Durango some 47 years ago. We had lots and lots of fun times together with our families, hiking, church and breakfast afterwards, dances at the Elks, meals at the cabin on Electra. He will be missed but we know some day we'll do some more hiking and sharing meals together. God bless you Jan and all the rest of your family.

Gail was so kind and compassionate and was my dentist when I lived in Bayfield many years ago. Please except my sincere condolences. God bless all of you.

So sad to hear of my Uncle Gail's passing. Although we lived very far apart, with me in Canada, I had gotten to know to him and Aunt Jan so much better over the past number of years with a couple of Arizona trips and through periodic calls, emails and texts. Our last visit nearly one year ago now was something special. My family (wife Cory, and daughter Jessica) will cherish the laughs and memories we shared for years to come. Sharing the last photo we have together along with my daughter Jessica & Aunt Jan. Rest in peace Dear Uncle.

I knew Gail from our mutual membership in the Durango Rotary Club and several bird hunting trips to South Dakota and his flying trips there
I remember the hunting because Gail often used ear protection and we had a hard time getting his attention to let him know our hunting time was over and we needed go home. He was a wonderful man and may God bless him and his family.

To Dr. Person, it’s been over 30 some plus years since I spent many of hours in your chair, where you gave to me a gift of a smile to be proud of. Each day since, when I look in the mirror, I thank you for your talent, patience and gentleness. I shall alway remember you and be grateful that you put an end to my insecurity.

I recall the wonderment of seeing Gail riding his horse through Durango with his falcon on his arm. A wonderful man, indeed!

I went to the Abbey School with Gail, and, in addition to being a patient of his, I recall early days
watching in wonder as Gail rode his horse through Durango with his falcon on his arm! A wonderful man, indeed!
