Frederic Joseph White III, age 61 of Alton, New Hampshire died on December 31, 2025. Frederic was involved in a fatal car accident on his way to work in the morning at approximately 7:45 AM.
He was born on June 20,1964 in Huntington NY.
He was the son of Evelyn Julia Laban White and Frederick Joseph White Jr.
He attended schools in North Hampton and Rye NH up until the age of 15 when he and his mother moved to Hawaii on the Island of Oahu where he finished his primary schooling and trade school. In 1984 Fred entered into the United States Air Force Serving in the capacity as a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Journeyman; he then progressed to become a TSGT. Fred then separated from the Air Force and served through the Department of Defense with the Hawaiian Air National Guard at Hickam AFB. In 2009 he moved back to New Hampshire and served at Pease Air National Guard in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and also at the Portsmouth Navy Shipyard in Kittery, Maine. His total military service was 30 years and 3 months. He then worked as a civilian full-time employee in multiple capacities. His current employer was TechniCoil in Ossipee NH where he was a Quality Control Inspector.
Frederic was considered a renaissance man and there was not any type of activity or task that he would not excel at. A perfectionist in all committed to. He enjoyed building remote control (R/C) scale model boats and airplanes from scratch and flying or boating them. In the summer months, he spent his free time on the water boating in his Donzi Black Hawk Limited Edition race boat with his wife.
Frederic is survived by his wife Sheila M Michaud White; his three (3) sons: Kamai Keliikuli of Hawaii, Akana Keliikuli of Long Creek, Oregon and Kalani Keliikuli of Honolulu, Hawaii; his Daughter Ashley N. Carter of Brewer, Maine; three sisters: Gloria White Clarke of Eureka,California, Jacalyn Lupinacci of N. Berwick, Maine and April Butler of Hampton, NH; he had many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by both his parents and a sister Darien Lupinacci.
A “Hawaiian” Celebration of Life will be held at his home in Alton and Merrymeeting Lake in New Durham on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Details will follow to those who are interested in attending by contacting his wife.

I met Fred one day as I was driving up Powder Mill Road from the lake. I saw him polishing his boat and I had to complement him on a beautiful boat so I pulled over. I walked up the driveway, not knowing what to expect and I expressed my compliments on a beautiful boat and he greeted me with such warmth, friendship, and as if we’ve known each other for years.
From that day on, we became close friends talking about Donzi‘s and out of the blue one day he called my home in Florida and told me to check out a boat in Fort Lauderdale, which I did. I got a great deal on it, but it had one problem it had no engine. Fred came back and told me that would not be a problem he would install it and to this day, you can see me on Marie meeting Lake enjoying the fruit of his beautiful work that he did. It took a lot of in Engineering ingenuity and know how to adopt a modern engine into a 1967 Donzi, but he forged ahead to completion of a beautiful 1967 Donzi ski sport model Sweet Sixteen with only four made of that model in 1967, which was found by Fred’s research. I believe Fred’s in a better place and we all miss him, his friendship, companionship, and knowledge.
As the phrase goes..
“Carry on my wayward son.”

I first met Fred at a Donzi boat gathering on Lake Winnipesaukee. My son and I were walking the docks admiring all the boats. A friend asked if we were going out for the run and Fred overheard me say that we were not. He immediately said that we were welcome to come aboard his boat for the ride. Our friendship was born immediately. Though we lived in different states we would come together briefly almost every summer for a visit and talk about all things boating related. I had a nice visit this summer with him and his wife. He was a great friend and I will always remember him. Fair winds and following seas my friend.
