Doug was one of the best human beings I ever knew. A kind and patient soul, he was there for me when I lost my own husband.
I will never forget him.
Rest in Peace, Douglas.

Doug was the brother of Susan my college suitemate. We went to numerous events at his very cool Columbus apartment. From then on I saw him over the years and was always impressed that he knew my name and greeted me with warmth. He had a marvelous sense of humor. If I had a brother I would choose him. Hoping the love he spread will comfort those still here. Leslie Abernathy
