Dora Greer Obituary

Dora Mae (Martinez) Greer, born 3/10/1945, 80, of Marvel, Colorado, passed on 10/14/25 at home. Dora was the youngest of nine children born to Jose D. Martinez and Eufemia Moya Martinez. Dora married Dick Seward Greer in 1973, who shared 5 children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren together. Dora worked several jobs from a young age and went on to spend 31 years at the Marvel post office, earning many awards for her service. Dora was an asset to her community and served in many ways. One of Dora's favorite things to do at home was tending to her flowers. Dora's first love was the Lord, then her family. Mrs. Greer is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Missy), and sons Michael (Stretch) Greer, Rodger Greer, Marlon Greer, and Paul Greer. A service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, October 25th, at St. Columba Catholic Church in Durango. For a fuller obituary go to www.hoodmortuary.com/obituaries/dora-greer.
