Dixie Lyn Slone Young, age 71, from Christoval, TX, passed away unexpectedly in her home in Durango, CO on December 22, 2021. Dixie was a Christian, devoted wife, and a wonderful Mother.
Dixie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Larry Young of Durango, CO; Daughter, LaShell Jackson (husband, Sean Jackson) of Durango, CO; Son, Andy Young of Christoval, TX; Daughter, Lacy Price (husband Clint Price) of Durango, CO. 7 Grandchildren that all called her "NANA"; Kalub Jackson of Durango, CO, Trevor Jackson of Durango, CO, Lance Young of Christoval, TX, Alexis Young of Christoval, TX, Aubrey Young of Christoval, TX, Payzlie Price of Durango, CO, Cooper Price of Durango, CO; 1 Great-Grandbaby, Dixie Ann Jackson of Durango, CO; 2 Brothers, Delmar Slone (wife Jeri) of Christoval, TX, David Slone (wife Bonnie) of Miles, TX; 2 Nieces and 1 Nephew.
Dixie was greatly loved and will be missed by so many. Dixie was a graduate of Christoval High School. She loved antique shopping, crafts, camping and especially all her grandbabies. She enjoyed catching up and hanging out with friends and family.
Funeral Services will be held at Hood Mortuary in Durango, CO on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 10 AM.
