When he first came to Durango
he worked as a PT for home bound patients. The first time I met David, Judy Bray and I were working in Bayfield. Working with William Holder , who was handicapped, David was physical therapist, Judy was Speech therapist and I was the CNA. At that time there was no home health. All three of us worked together. David was always very passionate and exciting person to work with. Please don't excite him or you weren't able to understand him . I enjoyed working with David . He was one of a kind . Thanks David for making the world a better place. Love you. Lucy Stewart

David "R" Farmer was my physical therapist, my friend, my boss and my mentor. He is the reason for where I am at in my career. He was kind, caring, compassionate, charismatic and passionate. He was one fiery Cajun and did not back down from a challenge personally or professionally. I was very inspired to witness that with Dave, it did not matter if you were an elite cyclist or a normal Joe recovering from a TBI, he always made you better than you were before. He touched so many lives by blessing them with his God given talents. Very sorry to hear of his suffering and passing but very pleased to know he is my Christian brother and we will toast some truly top shelf Crown Royal when we meet again. May God Bless Lorelei, his mom and all of his family and friends during this time and always.
