David Alexander Obituary

David Eugene Alexander was born on March 11, 1959, in La Junta, Colorado. He passed away suddenly on March 18, 2026, at the age of 57. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Rose Alexander, and his sister, Lisa Raye Alexander.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Alexander; his daughter, Liza Williams (Jason Williams); his two cherished grandchildren, Kendall Alexander-Williams and David Lee Alexander-Williams; and his sister, Theresa Valdez.

David worked as a heavy equipment operator with 4 Corners Materials for over 30 years. He learned how to "play in the dirt" at a very young age, working and riding alongside his dad-a passion that stayed with him throughout his life.

Music was a huge part of who David was. He loved sitting at home, sharing great music with the people he cared about most, especially when fine-tuning his stereo by changing tubes or cables. Those moments brought him joy and brought others closer to him.

David loved his family and friends deeply, and in return, they loved him just as much. He was kind, generous, and always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. It didn't matter whether you were a stranger or someone he had known for years-David would show up and help however he could.

David will be remembered for his big heart, his passion for life, and the love he shared so freely with those around him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Hood Mortuary on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
