Dave Gallegos Obituary
Dave is survived by his two sons, Brett (Crystal) and Anthony, grandson Michael, mother Mary, sisters Margaret Gomez, Kathi Gurule and Elizabeth Gallegos, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Dave is proceeded in death by his father Tony, and his brothers Lonnie, Frank, and Joseph.
He graduated from Ignacio High School in 1974. He worked as a custodian for over 20 years in the Durango and then the Ignacio school districts. In his free time, he enjoyed sports, with baseball being his favorite.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 10am at St Ignatius Parish. A celebration of life will be held at the Southern Ute Multi-Purpose Facility at 12:00 pm.

My sincere condolences to Elizabeth and the rest of the family in the passing of your brother Davy. Although I didn't see him much after high school, I will always remember him as a cheery, fun loving guy, with a huge smile to greet everyone he met. We had a lot of fun in high school bantering with each other with wisecracks. I pray that the memory of his sweet nature will carry you throught these times of loss. God be with you all.
