Craig Keith Sullivan peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on June 17, 2015. It was also the date of his 20th wedding anniversary with Danielle, his best friend and partner.

Craig spent his childhood in northcentral England and moved with his family to Wisconsin in 1976. He graduated from Parker High School in Janesville, Wisconsin, in 1981. Craig earned Bachelor's degrees from University of Wisconsin at Stout and Stevens Point and completed Master's degree work in silviculture and forestry. He had a 20-year career as a forester with the U.S. Forest Service and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. His work took him and his family to Montana, Alaska, Tennessee, and New Mexico until the family settled in southwest Colorado eleven years ago.

Craig was a devoted and caring husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. His easy-going, friendly and kind ways were appreciated by many. Craig was an avid sports fan and outdoorsman who enjoyed skiing, hiking, climbing, and paddling. He also loved to travel and continued travelling to several countries and locations in the U.S. even after his cancer his diagnosis.

Wow I just found out one of the people who changed my life for the better has passed on. He is the brother I never had. I can not express in words what he meant to me, a small town hick from WI. I am so sad, but also so happy as I know that he never did not live life to the fullest every minute of his life I am crying and smiling at the same time if that is possible. I am so proud of Danielle, if anyone is strong enough to get through this it is her. God bless her and Ethan for their perseverance. Sully was sort of a free spirit. I loved him and his passion for life. I will be sad to share his passing with the fraternity brothers that all loved him and his unique personality. My annual trip to MT just became a lot more special.
