Craig Arnwine Obituary

Craig Lane Arnwine, 53, of Durango, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2024.

Craig was born in Hereford, TX January 10, 1971to Barry and Vikki Arnwine (Deck). The Arnwine family moved to Hobbs, NM where Craig played HS basketball and won a state championship under the esteemed coach Ralph Tasker. Craig loved all sports and was a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and Sixers as well as the Colorado Avalanche and ASU football. He graduated from Arizona State University in 1992 with a BS in Finance which led to his lifelong career in institutional finance and investment advising.

Craig was a father, son, husband, friend and local business owner who touched the lives of friends and colleagues in his community. Craig always supported his children in all their endeavors and his love for family will be deeply missed.

Craig established several successful businesses in Durango and always gave back to the community by donating his time. He spent countless hours coaching little league, hockey and basketball at St. Columba, his children's school. Craig was a member of the Elks lodge, Business Networking International and on the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of La Plata County for many years.

Craig enjoyed Durango to the fullest, he loved snowboarding, boating, mountain biking with friends and all that we have here in our beautiful mountain community.

Rest in peace Craig, you are safe in Gods arms.

Craig's memorial service will be held at 12PM November 2, 2024 at the Fort Lewis Concert Hall with a reception immediately following at Perbacco Cucina Italiana until 4PM.
