Cordelia Stites Obituary

Cordelia "Dee" Lambert Stites, 95, of Durango, died 7/14/2021, at home, Born 3/8/1926. A service will be held at 11:00am September 4, 2021, at First Presbyterian Church of Durango, 1159 E 3rd Ave.. Mrs. Stites raised four children in six states and three foreign countries while supporting her husband's military career. Mrs. Stites is survived by her four children: Sam Stites (Gwyneth) and Ann Stringfellow (Mike) of Durango; Tom Stites (Mary) of Evergreen, CO; Lia Devine (Gary) of Fort Collins, CO; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Dee was a fascinating and dear friend to us during her many years in our First Presbyterian Church congregation. We extend our deepest sympathy to her children and family. Regretting that we were out of town and unable to attend her memorial service.
