Christopher Candelaria Obituary
Known as “Chris," he was born to Pete and Jane Candelaria on Jan. 12, 1958, in Durango and grew up here.
Mr. Candelaria is survived by his wife, Christalyn, of Las Vegas; mother and stepfather, Jane and Alfred Gallegos, of
Aztec; father, Pete Candelaria, of Durango; sisters Sandra Rodrigues of Durango, Katherine McKenny of Mancos and
Christine Martinez of Farmington; stepsister, Diane Morson, of Sedona, Ariz.; brothers Vernon Rodrigues of Durango
and Andrew Trujillo of Arizona; stepbrother, Joe C. Perez, of Texas; and one granddaughter.
Cremation has occurred. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at Sacred Heart Catholic
Church, 254 East Fifth Ave. in Durango. Burial will take place at Greenmount Cemetery.
