Charlene Ruthe Jones joined her Lord and Savior on Feb 21, 2024.

Charlene was born Feb 4, 1945 to Charles "Bud" & Ruthe Jones in Craig CO. They moved to Rawlins WY in 1955 where Charlene graduated high school in 1963. In 1964 the family moved to Durango CO and Charlene attended Oklahoma Christian College. She worked for numerous local businesses through the years. Charlene loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She was an artist and through the years painted, crocheted, scrapbooked and made cards, embroidered, and did calligraphy.

She was known as Char, Chaddie, Schatz, and she made the best hot chocolate and Granddaddy Long-Leg toast.

Charlene is preceded in death by her parents Charles "Bud" and Ruthe, and sister Marilyn. She is survived by her brother Russ (Linda), son Morgan (Sara), daughters Rebecca and Jessica, grandchildren Dillon, Shelby, Elizabeth, and Rachael, five great-grandchildren, numerous neices, nephews, and cousins, and several lifelong friends.

Charlene's memorial services will be held at the Aztec church of Christ, 201 Ruins Rd on Saturday, March 2 at 10:00am.
