Charlene Goff Obituary

Charlene Ann (Benton) Goff was born at the Gable House in Durango August 23, 1951. She passed away on April 1, 2023 from an extended illness. She was an RN who worked at Mercy Hospital and later provided home health in the Shiprock area. She had a big heart full of compassion, never met a stranger, full of laughter, an easy smile and as she claimed no filters. Charlene loved gardening, hiking and her lab Blu. She was a member of the Red Hats Society. She and her life partner Richard Gould of 22 yrs. wintered in Bull Head City. AZ and in La Plata, NM in the summer. She is survived by her sisters Deborah Benton Whitley and Carol Melcher, four nieces, one nephew and many other relatives. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 17th for family and friends.
