Carol VanDyke Obituary

Carol Lee Van Dyke, 71 of Denver, Colorado passed away Saturday October 14, 2017 after a brief illness. Carol was born in Durango, Colorado May 22, 1946 to John and Lillie Fresquez (Lopez).

Carol graduated from Cathedral High School in Denver in 1963. She went on to earn her BS in Dentistry: Dental Hygiene from the University of Iowa in 1968.

Carol is survived by her daughter: Maria T. VanDyke (Ithaca, NY); granddaughter: Lumika VanDyke ; sister: Jeraldine Fitzgerald (sps, Mike); Nephews: Tim and Ryan Fitzgerald; Aunts: Lucy James, Pauline Maestes, and Doris Sanders; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A vigil will be held in Durango on Nov. 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Hood Mortuary and interment of ashes will follow at Greenmount Cemetery.
