What a loss, for Bob and Paulette but also for the entire Durango community. Carol was a tireless and effective advocate for victims of domestic violence when it was an issue that was not always addressed as a crime. As County Judge, I worked closely with her and Shari Dyer, Joanne Spina and many others to establish the Domestic Violence Prevention Coalition, which would not have happened without her dedication to the cause.
With sincere condolences to her family,
Pat Hall

I had the pleasure to share office space with Carol before she retired from Alternative Horizons and during the time that Paulette came into her life. She made a difference to so many people. Remembering her with you.
