Carl Malberg Obituary

Carl H. Malberg - Born February 2, 1934, died July 16, 2021. Native of Durango, Colorado.

Attended St. Columba Catholic Grade School and graduated from Durango High School in 1951.

He served his country in the United States Air Force from 1955 to 1977, rising to the rank of Major. He worked 20 years for Lockheed as a Satellite Operations Engineer, rising to the position of Department Manager. He retired in 1997 and was an avid golfer, deep-sea fisherman, and reader. Married for 45 years to Michiko (Mitch) Maeda who passed away in 2004.

He was deeply in love with the Lord, Jesus Christ, and with his best friend, Joan Tang.

Cremation has occurred, Funeral Services will be at Church of the Resurrection, 725 Cascade Drive, Sunnyvale, California at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 28. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Los Altos, California.
