Bula Queen Obituary
Mrs. Queen was born May 12, 1914, in Headrick, Oklahoma, to Howard and Jessie Chapman. Her family moved from Oklahoma to New Mexico in 1928.
While in New Mexico, she met her husband, Bryan B. Queen. They married and raised three children. Sometime around the 1950s, she moved with her family to Durango, where she lived until her husband's death in 2003. Her children described her as a loving and kind wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Queen was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan B. Queen, and her daughter, Selma Yeager.
She is survived by her sons, Bryan Lee Queen, of Durango; and Weldon Queen, of Aztec, and numerous grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date.
