Brent Melville Obituary

Brent Alexander Melville passed on July 4,2023 unexpectedly, at home. Brent is survived by his wife Morgan Braddy. Melville, his mother Sharon Wright, his bonus dad Hank Wright, his grandmother Georgia Ruth Johnson, and aunts Deborah Johnson, and Barbara Yarborough, and cousins Kerry and Eric Melville. He was born February 26, 1983 in Denton TX to Gary Melville and Sharon Melville. Brent was preceded in death by his dad Gary Melville, and grandfathers Robert Johnson and Alan Melville, grandmother Margaret Melville, and Uncle John Melville. Brent moved to Durango when he was 4 years old and attended high school and college here. Brent has worked in the Durango area in the restaurant industry for many years. He worked at Fired Up Pizzaria the past 11 years. Brent was always willing to help his friends and his family. He loved to cook, loved hip hop music, sports, and had a sense of style that far exceeded his small town upbringing. Brent and Morgan spent the last eight years going to concerts, sporting events and taking trips. In lieu of flowers,the family requests that those who are grieving pay it forward, do something kind for another person, and remember the loving spirit and generosity that Brent exhibited throughout his life.
