Barbara Beard Obituary
Barbara was born July 8, 1934, to Ruby Lee (Eubanks) and Roy William Timme in Houston, TX and was called home to her Lord and Savior on Oct 6, 2022.
Barbara was a homemaker and caregiver for family and friends, always ready to lend a helping hand. She had 4 children of her own and was a foster parent for over 120 children in the Durango area.
Barbara was a resident of Durango for 40 years and enjoyed many friendships. She moved to Farmington, NM to be near her youngest daughter and spent her last 8 years in the care of Life Care of America, in Farmington fighting a decade long battle against Lewy Body Dementia.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; spouses: Columbus Miller, Norman Beard, Buddy MaGourik; and brother Lionel Timme. She is survived by children Carla Miller, Douglas Miller and wife Becky, Wesley Miller and wife Lanelle, and Joan Manchester and husband Ken, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on July 8, 2023, at Greenmount Cemetery in Durango, CO at 10:30 am.
