Dear Anne, Linda, Peter,
I am so sad to hear of Fred’s passing. I have such fond memories of conversations with him and time spent with all of you as neighbors long ago. You are all in my prayers, thoughts, and heart. Much love. Sincerely, Cyndie

Dear Anne,
Susan and I are so saddened to hear of Al's passing. Your smiles and gentle kindness have always been a highlight of comradery at Durango Lodge #507 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, and I will remember with great fondness attending Lodge meetings with Al, Leroy, and Dan -- the Three Musketeers, always advocating for dignity and tradition at our Lodge. Al was not just a good Elk, he was calm and extraordinarily professional in his work as a Building Inspector, he had such a blessed attitude, demonstrated with warm wit and humor, and he was simply a good man, and he was a gift to those who's lives he touched -- as are you, Dear Lady. May Al's wellspring of goodness shine a bright light over the sadness we all feel with his passing, and encourage all of us to be as good a soul.
With love,
Dav and Susan Armstrong

Dear Anne,
we would like to express our heartfelt condolences to you and your family on the death of Alfred. We are also very sad and think of you.
We were informed by phone from Susi Anderson on April 3rd and think back fondly on our visits to Bayfield and your visits to Germany. We have many memories of the excursions together, the meetings with Resi and Herbert Fieberling in Bayfield and Colorado Springs. We are grateful for the hospitality and the loving care with you.
We will not forget Fredy, a good, honest and friendly person, nice that we got to know him.

Al was one of my favorite people at the Pine River Senior Center. I remember his jokes when talking to him at lunchtimes. And his get up for Halloween was hysterical. Al gave us volunteers a good laugh and his jokes were always so gentle. Our Bayfield community has lost a beloved member. Anne, you are deeply in my thoughts and prayers.
