Edie was born August 10, 1947, in Beatrice, Nebraska to Elmer and Irma (Huneke) Schuerman. She was the youngest of three children.

Edie married the love of her life, Larry Wilson, on August 24, 1963. Together they welcomed three sons: Mark, Tadd, and Shane.

Edie was employed with S & H Green Stamps for most of the years she raised her sons. She was then self-employed as a bookkeeper and did tax preparation until her retirement in 2010. She and her husband were very active in the 23 Club baseball program for several years, where she and Larry spent their summers and made many lifelong friendships. Edie took great pride in watching her sons play the game that always kept the family together. She was often seen in the snack shack working with her great friends, who also shared the same passion for helping the community. Edie and Larry loved following their grandchildren and great-grandchildren, to all their sporting events. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, traveling to a sunny beach, taking cruises, and traveling all over the country with their great friends Jim and Roberta Green. She loved spending her summers at the lake, enjoying reading a book, or riding on their pontoon with their beloved dog Brandi.

Survivors include sons, Mark (Deb) Wilson, Tadd Wilson, and Shane (Shannon) Wilson; four grandchildren, Hailee Wilson (fiancé, Zeb Frauendienst), Ty Wilson, Tanner (Taylor) Wilson, and Joshua Wilson; three step-grandchildren, Candi Konley, Tyler Fralin, and Morgan Fralin (fiancé, Riley Wegner); four great grandchildren, Jaxen Wilson, Beckett Wilson, Jace Frauendienst, and Banks Wilson; two step-great grandchildren, Aubri Nedella and Peyton Snell; sisters-in-law, Barb Schuerman and Cher Schuerman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Edie was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Irma Schuerman; in-laws, Raymon and Helen Wilson; her loving husband, Larry Wilson; brothers, Darryl Schuerman and Eldor Schuerman; sister-in-law, Jan (Wayne) Houseman; and brother-in-law, Darrell (Katie) Wilson.
