Ron Moore, 71, of Boerne, TX entered the loving arms of our Lord on 10-8-18 following a long and courageous battle with a multitude of illnesses. He was lovingly surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren. Ron was born in Colver, PA to the late Ronald and Bessie Moore. When he graduated high school he joined the United States Navy and fought in the Vietnam war. After 4 years in the Navy he came home and worked in the coal mines for 2 years then was accepted into the Long Beach CA Police Academy. He worked as a police officer for 3 years then was transferred to Bell Gardens Police Department (a suburb of LA). He served there as a police officer, detective, and retired after 22 years as a police sergeant. In 1994 he moved to Durango, CO with his wife and granddaughters Brianna and Savanah. He started his own business (Elkridge Concrete Pumps). He serviced LaPlata and the surrounding areas for 12+ years. In 2007 he became a concrete truck driver for Four Corners Materials until 2011 at which time he retired due to health issues. Ron enjoyed watching football, traveling with his family every summer and he especially enjoyed the Holidays with the family and dressing up as Santa for the grandchildren. He was a lover of all animals, especially his best friend Dutchess who never left his side.

Ron is survived by his wife Debbie, his granddaughters Brianna and Savanah. Children, son Joe and wife Lori their children Braden, Tayci and Kayti. Son Bill his children Haily and Holly. Daughter Tammie Winterhawk her husband Chris. Son, Shane wife Jerrin and their children Arrin and Jessie. Son Chad and his children Holland and Teagan. Daughter Mary Jane Trimble her husband Boyd their children Ashlyn and Amanda. Brother-in-law Gary, wife Terry and their children Angie, Jason and Luke. Sisters Connie Nealan her husband Ron, Jackie Howell, her husband Rayye, Terri Rogers her husband Mike and all their children and grandchildren. Brothers Bill his wife Nancy, Jeff and his wife Tina, Jim his wife Debbie, Bob his wife Tammy and all their children and grand children.
