James "Jim" Duane Brittain, 66, of Aztec, NM, died 11/2/2021, at home, surrounded by family, Born 5/16/1955. A service will be held at Hood Mortuary Chapel, 1261 E. 3rd Ave., Durango at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 6, 2021. He married his ever loving wife, Liz and had two beautiful sons Louis Brittain (42) and Joey Brittain (33). Jim is survived by seven grandchildren; Dominique, Brea, Angelo, Noah, Miranda, Jake, Jaxon and many others that knew him as a grandfather. He was a family man, keeping his loved ones close always. He will be greatly missed by every soul that had the opportunity of meeting him.

Things I remember Jim from High-school. If there was fun, he was in the middle of it. From watching him I learned a person could shoe ski hanging on to the car door.
