My Aunt Beverly was quite a gal. The oldest sister of 4. She woke up early and hit the floor running. She was vivacious and full of expression. Quite theatrical my granny once said. She was strong, intelligent and showed great style. She truly loved people. She made a huge difference in so many children's lives as she gave them reading, writing and arithmetic skills. She taught them to love learning and to never doubt your own abilities. She taught manners and the ability to believe in oneself. She opened up the world and offered hope and confidence. If she loved you there’s nothing that could ever damper that and she would stand strong to support you in whatever life threw at you. She was optimistic and had a very positive attitude. She loved hosting friends and family. She was very organized and specific with her intentions. Prissy and pretentious she was. She had a special way she did things and you better stay out of her path . She had a very special way of being there for you no matter how far away you were. I don’t remember ever hearing her complain. She dreamed big and lifted you up in a way no one else could. She was beautiful inside and out. She loved me with all her ♥ And I miss her everyday. I thank my Heavenly Father for giving me such a wonderful family and a special lady named Beverly Jane.

Beverly and her husband, Wayne, were our neighbors for nearly 20 years. They were the first to greet us when we moved to the neighborhood. We remember them as the best neighbors ever. They will be sorely missed.
