Judith Ring Obituary

Judith "Judy" Ring died on October 3, 2017 in The Villages, FL.  She passed away peacefully with her beloved husband and sons by her side; she was 71 years old.

Judy was born September 27, 1946 in Everett, MA. She attended Melrose High School where she met Walter Ring, and they married in 1965. In 1977 the Rings moved to Andover, MA. Judy was a dedicated employee at Tallman Eye Associates and the Andover Town Clerks office, always greeting people at the counter with a smile.  She retired in 2007.  Judy will be remembered for her infectious personality and bright smile.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend with a passion for travel and the arts. When her children were young, she joyfully attended all of their sporting events, and loved spending summers in Maine at the lake house they built.  In retirement, she traveled with friends, enjoyed attending musical performances, and looked forward to visiting with her adored grandsons.

Judy is survived by her husband Walter Ring of The Villages, FL; son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Lisa Ring of Seabrook, NH; son and daughter-in-law Kevin and Meghan Ring of Manhattan Beach, CA; grandsons Caden and Logan; her three sisters, Helen, Debra, and Mala.

A wake will take place on October 20 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence St., Andover, MA.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Judy's life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society in Judy's name. Judy will be buried in a private family ceremony.
