So many years of sweetness and generosity shared, especially at the beach house in Yachats Oregon. Huge sports fan especially tennis. Cocktails in the late afternoons. She traveled, adventures were had, and in her later years loved living near hope and deb on the `ranch´. I was honored to know this exceptional woman.

Adele and Bill were great friends from the Prudential days. I was a nurse there and we had so many lovely times together playing bridge, tailgating and I so admired her. She was such an interesting, vital. woman. She will always remain to me a fascinating friend.

I knew Adele for years. Fascinating, smart as a whip, engaging, stories of far off adventures, loved to read and do NYT crossword, loved to watch hours of tennis, walk on the ranch, play with the dogs, and a fashion queen. I shall miss her.

To say that Adel was extraordinary is diminishing her gifts. Adele, at age 90+ was remarkably spry both mentally and physically. She kept those around her entertained and active. We had to be on our game to keep up with Adele. Here is an example: She traveled with us to the heart of Yellowstone National Park one Christmas deterred not once by the sub zero temps or the snowy walks to the geysers and to the lodge for meals. Yet she also enjoyed opera and the symphony. Thank you Adele for being an amazing role model to me and so many others.
To Hope and Deb and all of Adele’s family, thank you for sharing her and be good to yourselves as you process your loss.
