I am so sorry for your loss. She always had the biggest smile on her face. What a great teacher. I was lucky to be inspired by her.

John, Stephanie, and Sam,
My heart sunk when I found out about Ione. She was one of the brightest, wittiest and most terrific people I knew. I so enjoyed the privilege of being her team member and getting to work with Ione.
She had such a dry and fun sense of humor.
I remember when we went to a Math conference in Las Vegas and she managed to get the president of another teachers' association to pay for our entire dinner.
John, I know you were always so good to your wife. Always!!!
There was never a doubt that she knew that and appreciated your devoted attention.
She will be missed by all three of you I am sure! She looked fabulous the last time I saw her. Very happy!
My heart goes out to you and she lived her retirement years the right way.
Bless all of you,
Pat Starns
