Lucy M. Dressel, 96, of Aztec, New Mexico formerly of Tyrone died Saturday March 24, 2018 at Good Samaritan Society- Four Corners Vilage, Aztec. She was born June 30, 1921 in Birmingham, Pa. a daughter of Nick and Mary (Sprankle) Patterson. On March 22, 1948 at Winchester, Virginia she married Carl F. Dressel. He died July 16, 1987.
Surviving are two Sons; Charles J. and wife Susan of Davie, Florida, Robert C. and wife Patty of Durango, Colorado, five grandchildren, Charles S. Dressel and wife Lauren of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Meghan Dressel of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Kathleen Dressel of Washington, D.C., Jason Craig and wife Sandy of Grandby, Colorado and Kirsten Craig of Durango, Colorado, three greatgrandchildren Jasmine Park of Oregon, James Craig of Colorado, Autumn Tucson of Durango and a nephew John Patterson of Buffalo, New York. She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter Fairyn Craig, a sister Arvilla Patterson, a brother Morris Patterson and a nephew Sam Patterson.
She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Tyrone and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She had been employed at Sylvania, Buffalo, New York during WWII.
Funeral services will be held Saturday March 31, 2018 at 2 P.M. at Feller Memorial Home with Rev. Eric Shafer officiating. Interment will be at Burket Cemetery www.fellermemorialhome.com
